Boo...

Just because I haven't been blogging doesn't mean I haven't been knitting. I'm actually knitting stuff for myself. I know it's hard to believe. I have so many projects waiting in the wings.
First: One sleeve done, one more to go.
Second: My Pomatomus socks. These shouldn't be that hard! I have ripped this back 3 times now. I DON'T RIP BACK!!! What is wrong with me. But, now that I have calmed down, I think I have it figured out. I really would like to get these done before I take Cookie A's class in October. I don't want her thinking I'm a total loser.
And lastly, I have been learning the fine art of stalking Wollmeise. It is a very sly creature, but after watching other Ravelers, and lurking about, I've finally snagged a few skeins.
One day I might even unskein it and knit with it.
Oh, and thanks to whoever keeps using my camera when my back is turned. I found these on it today. You know who you are!!!!!!!

Finally...

The baby can come now, the knitting is done. I didn't think I was ever going to finish this one, but I did. This one is for a friend that is due in 2 weeks.
I still think this will be one of my all time favorite patterns.
Pattern: Rippled Baby Blanket by MoreThanOneWay (free pattern)
Yarn: Sirdar Snuggly DK 7--50g balls
Needles: 4.5mm

I went to a 4.5mm this time instead of a 4mm just to give it a lighter feel.
